Christy the Dog needs a home

Christy, a toy poodle, was dumped in a park in the winter with infected teeth and 5 mammary tumors. Someone found her and took her to a shelter.  She is thought to be  10-12 years old and the sweetest girl ever.  We gave her the works dental (10 teeth removed) and 5 mammary tumors removed, spayed and vaccinated, heart worm tested, microchipped. She isn't totally potty trained but enjoys going outside to use the bathroom. She wants to be with you and sleep with you. She is a great dog for a retired person. She does have cataracts.  Her adoption donation is $150.

You must be willing to commute to the location that the pet is being fostered in order to be eligible to adopt. We do not ship our pets. We also require that you personally bring the pet back to us should the adoption not work out.  


We do NOT negotiate adoption fees.  Our fees have not changed in years, although vetting, food, supplies, etc has all gone up.  All money goes to our dogs and the running of this rescue.  We are 100% volunteered based.


Adoption fees are non-refundable.


Please expect any new pet you bring into your house to need an adjustment period. 


 Your current dog must be current on vaccines and on heartworm prevention.
